It is here that I begin

Brainstorming is over; I have my topic, which is really the topic that I’ve had all along – The Nanny Librarian. This blog is an in depth look at “The Story Behind the Name” of “The Nanny Librarian,” not just the tip of the iceberg information, such as that I’m a nanny and I love books/kids. There’s so much more to that, which I think holds merit on many levels, most importantly of which is of course is how I perceive myself as someone who is significant in the lives of the people I work with now and in the future.

I’ll talk about the activities I’ve done/do to become a better Nanny Librarian, ways to entertain children of all ages, fun facts, inspiring quotes and other tidbits that are relevant to my blog.

  1. I think talking about kids, nannying (if that is a word...Firefox tells me it isn't), and libraries is a wonderful topic. I am super excited for Inkheart to open this weekend. I loved the book. I'm hoping the movie is good. So far most of the children's books that have been turned into movies follows the story line quite well. I would like to know if you have any ideas about getting boys into reading. My friend and I were talking about trying to get some local well-known athletes to help, but we're not sure if that will help. Any thoughts?
