Riddles

If you like jokes you may also enjoy riddles. If you don’t enjoy jokes you still may enjoy riddles – so give them a shot. The following books are from my local library and vary in degree of difficulty and appropriateness based upon the age and the comprehension levels of children. Riddles really are a great way to pass the time (long road trips, camping trips, etc.) and don’t require anything beyond memorizing the question and answer. Additionally there are riddles for all ages and keeps a young and old mind sharp.

Helmer, Marilyn. Recess Riddles. New York: Kids Can, 2004.
