I hope no one missed out on the family fun that was had this Saturday, March 14th 2009, in downtown Pittsburgh where the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade was held. It is typical of Pittsburgher’s to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the week before the big day, the night of the 17th, and in customary college town fashion, the green beverages typically continue to flow the weekend following the 17th.
Check out your local Irish restaurants and pubs for festivities that may include Irish bands, music, and discounted Irish beverages. I would recommend the Claddagh Irish Pub that’s located next door to the Southside Works Cinema.
